Our Mission

To help redevelop the local/regional food system through a focus on:
  • Encouraging cooperation and knowledge-sharing between farms and farmers;
  • Providing farmers and ranchers with resources, information, and a network for success;
  • Building a stronger connection between growers and eaters;
  • Supporting agriculturally-based economic development;
  • Helping expand existing efforts to promote locally grown foods;
  • Fostering leadership development and grassroots advocacy;
  • Serving as the voice of agriculture by identifying problems and helping develop solutions; and
  • Ensuring there is a future for small-scale agriculture in the Puget Sound region.
