Our Mission
To help redevelop the local/regional food system through a focus on:
- Encouraging cooperation and knowledge-sharing between farms and farmers;
- Providing farmers and ranchers with resources, information, and a network for success;
- Building a stronger connection between growers and eaters;
- Supporting agriculturally-based economic development;
- Helping expand existing efforts to promote locally grown foods;
- Fostering leadership development and grassroots advocacy;
- Serving as the voice of agriculture by identifying problems and helping develop solutions; and
- Ensuring there is a future for small-scale agriculture in the Puget Sound region.
